The City of Evans has Outdoor Watering Policies effective between April 15 and October 15.
 Outdoor watering is allowed on scheduled days except between the hours of noon and 5pm.

  • Single-family homes with even-numbered addresses shall only water lawns on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday of each week.
  • Single-family homes with odd-numbered addresses shall only water lawns on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday of each week.
  • Multi-family residents or apartments shall only water lawns on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday of each week.

Watering mid-day leads to loss of water through evaporation from the sun.
