Welcome to City of Evans Code Enforcement 

The code enforcement program addresses property maintenance and nuisance violations that affect the safety and quality of life in Evans.

Code enforcement officers investigate code violations on private property related to:

  • Inoperable Vehicles
  • Trash, Junk, and Outside Storage
  • Tall and Noxious Weeds
  • Hazardous Trees - dead or diseased tree limbs or trees and/or branches handing too low above sidewalks or streets
  • Brush
  • Dirt Piles and Debris
  • Snow on Sidewalks
  • Maintenance of Fences
  • Graffiti Removal
  • Building Without a Permit
  • Prairie Dogs
  • Occupancy of RV-Campers/Trailers

Code enforcement officers are generally available Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM.

Leave a message if the officers are unavailable (in court, meeting with residents, et cetera).
