Phase 2A of the 37th Street widening project is now open for two lanes in both directions. Please bear in mind some landscaping work on the shoulders and center median still have a few finishing touches but major work on the roadway itself is all done. We want to thank our residents and visitors who exhibited their patience while we took this big step forward for our City. While we know road construction can be a major pain, and unforeseen delays can complicate things from time to time, reaching the point where the roadway is open for two lanes in each direction as designed represents a major step forward for our City.
