Code Enforcement

The code enforcement program addresses property maintenance and nuisance violations that affect the safety and quality of life in Evans.

Code enforcement officers investigate code violations on private property related to:

  • Inoperable Vehicles
  • Trash, Junk, and Outside Storage
  • Tall and Noxious Weeds
  • Hazardous Trees
  • Brush
  • Dirt Piles and Debris
  • Snow on Sidewalks
  • Maintenance of Fences
  • Graffiti Removal

Code enforcement officers are generally available Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM.

Leave a message if the officers are unavailable (in court, meeting with residents, etc.).
