Neighborhood Services
The City of Evans Neighborhood Services division supports Evans residents by providing code enforcement and other services which improve the quality of our neighborhoods, and ensures the health, safety and welfare of Evans neighborhoods. In addition to helping aid community beautification efforts, the Neighborhood Services division also helps organize the City Clean Up Events, provides volunteer opportunities and facilitates rentals of the Neighborhood Party Trailer.
Code Enforcement
The code enforcement program addresses property maintenance and nuisance violations that affect the safety and quality of life in Evans.
Code enforcement officers investigate code violations on private property related to:
- Inoperable Vehicles
- Trash, Junk, and Outside Storage
- Tall and Noxious Weeds
- Hazardous Trees
- Brush
- Dirt Piles and Debris
- Snow on Sidewalks
- Maintenance of Fences
- Graffiti Removal

Code enforcement officers are generally available Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM.
Leave a message if the officers are unavailable (in court, meeting with residents, etc.).
